We completed our challenge for the Boyle Street Community Services fundraising challenge the ‘Boyle Street 40 Challenge’ — an initiative to get Edmontonians involved and participate in a challenge of their choice with the goal of raising $40,000 for the 40+ programs and services offered by Boyle Street to vulnerable members of the community.

We decided to canoe for the Boyle Street 40 Challenge because we knew it wouldn't be easy. We knew we would struggle and end our day in pain. Life isn't easy for Boyle Street clients; they struggle and are in pain every single day. We believe in Boyle Street's programs and services and know that the money raised through this fundraiser will support their work to break the cycle of poverty and addictions for BS clients most in need.

We raised $800.00 in the process and helped Boyle Street to reach over $60,000.00! The pain was worthwhile and we would do it all over again!
